~ Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce ~

If you have never tried Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce, you are missing out! I was lucky enough to receive some of Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce to try and I have to say, very delish! For dinner tonight I tried some of Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce in my recipe for French Dips. Definitely a must try! Here's the recipe I used:
French Dips:
Ingredients:
* 3-4 pound Beef Bottom Round Roast
* 1 Large Onion
* Package of Sliced Swiss Cheese
* 5 Cups of Water
* 1/2 Cup of Soy Sauce
* 1 Package of Lipton's French Onion Soup Mix
* 1 Tablespoon of Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce
* Package of Hoagie Rolls
Directions:
1) Cut up onion and sautee in pan with butter
2) Transfer onion into the bottom of a slow cooker/crock pot
3) Place Roast on top of onions in slow cooker/crock pot
4) Combine water, soy, soup mix, and all purpose sauce. Mix and pour over roast.
5) Cook on low setting for 7-8 hours.
6) Serve on hoagie rolls with swiss cheese.
** Hint: The leftover juice makes a yummy Au Jus for dipping **

PIKME Note Pads Review!

PIKME Note Pads are a great gift for friends, colleagues, teachers, for yourself, or basically for anyone! PIKME Note Pads are sized at 5x5 by 5x5 and contain 100 sheets per note pad. These pads come boxed two per set.
PIKME has a beautiful selection of watercolor images by owner/artist Kirsten Reynolds to choose from. Images include a starfish, mermaid, mailbox, seashell, elephant, flamingo, and more!
PIKME doesn't just sell Note Pads though.. They also sell wonderful items such as Note Cards & Tags, Stickers, Photo Cards, and more! All PIKME items boast a beautiful selected watercolor image!

I was lucky enough to get to take the Note Pads for a test drive, courtesy of PIKME! I was suprised to see how generous the Note Pads were in size! I was expecting a pad maybe a litter bigger than an average post it note pad, but these pads make those average guys look small! With being a busy mom and college student, I am always taking down notes or lists for something or other, and these Note Pads were ready for the job! I was able to fit all my writing on one sheet of these nice size pads, plus the beautiful flamingo watercolor image on each page added a nice touch! I would definitely recommend these!

PIGGY PAINT!

I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to review a fantastic product from Piggy Paint! Piggy Paint was founded by Melanie Hurley, a mother of two girls that wanted to create a safe alternative to traditional nail polish for her children. Unlike other polishes, Piggy Paint is non-flammable and is a water based polish formulated from natural ingredients. Even better is the fact that there are no harsh chemicals or foul odors to deal with!

Now I have four little princesses who just love to paint their nails, and I love to join in on the fun with them! I gathered the girls together so we could have some painting fun with my new polish courtesy of Piggy Paint! First off, the color was beautiful and just looking at the polish in the bottle, it definitley looks rich in color like any other traditional polish.
Now came the test! I was eager to see if this polish would hold up in color and appearance when on the nails, compared to traditional polishes. And you know what? IT DID! The girls and I had such a blast and the polish was quick drying, rich in color, and looked perfect on the nails! Usually I have a headache after the girls and I do our nails... Not this time! I was even provided a sample of Piggy Paint's polish remover to try which boasts no acetone, made from natural ingredients, and is hypo-allergenic! I tried some on one of my nails after the polish had set and it works just as well as your average run of the mill acetone fueled polish remover!
*** PIGGY PAINT IS OFFERING A 15% OFF DISCOUNT CODE WHEN YOU SHOP AT THEIR SITE! JUST USE CODE: piggy15 ***

Back In School Tomorrow...
Well, tomorrow marks the start of my second term back in school! This term I am taking accounting and a math class. Both are pre-requisites for the Medical Office Assistant program. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I think the nerves come from taking harder classes this term, and feeling the pressure of keeping up my straight A thing I got going on, LoL! I guess it really didn't help my nerves that my accounting teacher emailed me last night to tell us how difficult the class was going to be, especially in the online format which I am enrolled in. Eeek! I do love the online classes though and it's so very convienent with my family and hectic schedule. I will be keeping my loyal followers updated, and if anyone out there is another college mommy like myself, I would love to hear about what you're studying or any tips that might be helpful are welcomed!

My New Year's Resolution!
Normally I don't usually make New Year's resolutions, for the main reason being that I usually don't keep them and I feel that everday is an opportunity for change. This year however, I found it necessary to make one for myself. My New Year's resolution is to try and give myself more "Self Love And Appreciation". I know for me, 2009 was not the kindest, but I am looking forward to a very big and wonderful 2010! I felt I needed to stop and show myself more love and appreciation every now and then for the things about me I do love. I love being a wife and a mother! I love the fact that I am pushing myself through the challange of going back to school, and making it with straight A's! I love the fact that I may not have a model's body, but I can still rock a pair of jeans! Just writing this makes me feel the love, lol. I think every woman should make it a point to show themselves more "self love". As mother's and wives we run around and do for everyone else, and sometimes forget about ourselves. I hope everyone has an awesome 2010! I sure plan on it!
