When you think of the brand Seventh Generation, you probably think of the word "natural" or "eco-friendly". That's because Seventh Generation products contain authentic, natural ingredients that are good for your family and the earth!
Seventh Generation Dish Liquid is just one of the many wonderful products in the Seventh Generation line. These dish liquids contain essential oils and botanical extracts that really cut through the grime on any dish, silverware, or pan!
So where does Seventh Generation get it's natural ingredients from? Well, there's lavender from the fields of Drome in the foothills of the Alps, clementines from warm and sunny Calabria, and lemons from the soil of Sicily. I had the wonderful opportunity to review the amazing line of Seventh Generation Liquid Dish Soaps for myself in my own home. I received a wonderful package that contained four different liquid dish soaps, a premium 12" x 9" baking dish from Le Creuset, (2) Twist loofah sponges, (2) Twist scour pads, and a set of (3) organic cotton dish towels. Liquid dish soap is something I go through a lot of, as my dishwasher has been out of order for some time now and I do all my dishes by hand. With a family of six, that's a lot of dishes! I had previously heard of the Seventh Generation line before, but had never taken the leap myself and tried it.
The first of the liquid dish soaps I tried was the Lavender and Floral Mint. Now I'm not a big lavender scent fan, so I wasn't sure how this was going to go. To my surprise the lavender is very mild, and combined with the mint, it makes for a very nice scent! Not at all what I was expecting. The next dish soap I tried was the Free and Clear. This one is perfect for those who do not like any fragrance to their products. If you are sensitive to scents in general, this one is perfect! It gets the dishes clean without any sort of aroma. Next I tried the Lemongrass and Clementine Zest soap. This was my favorite out of all the soaps in this lineup! I just love the citrus fragrance combination. I personally think citrus scents are the best. If you're like me, this one is for you! Last but certainly not least I tried the Fresh Citrus and Ginger. Again, I love citrus fragrances so this was also a top favorite of mine.
I love that all the dish soaps in the Seventh Generation line are hypoallergenic and non toxic. It makes me feel comfortable about having these products around the kids. The Seventh Generation liquid dish soaps also proved to work just as good, actually substantially better, than my cheap off brand run of the mill dish soap I was purchasing. Nobody likes grimy pots and pans, especially not this mom! Seventh Generation liquid dish soaps cut easily through the grease and grime, leaving my dishes extra clean. This mom gives this lineup two thumbs up!
