The Heart of Christmas DVD Review and Giveaway

Just in time for the holidays comes a truly heartwarming movie, "The Heart of Christmas".  Inspired by a true story, The Heart of Christmas is about one family's journey after their 13 month old son is diagnosed with leukemia.  Facing a dim outlook for their son's future, the Locke family grow determined to give their son Dax one final Christmas, even if it has to take place in October.  When the family's community learns of their situation and upcoming plans they decide to lend their support. The Heart of Christmas stars Candace Cameron Bure, Jeanne Neilson, Erin Bethea, George Newbern, and Matthew West.  This is one movie your whole family will enjoy together this holiday season.  Tune into GMC (Gospel Music Channel) to watch The Heart of Christmas on Sunday, December 4th showing at 7pm and 9pm ET on Dish Network Channel 188, Direct TV Channel 338, and local cable.  You can also purchase the DVD on Amazon.com.

I recently received a copy of The Heart of Christmas DVD to review.  I'm a sucker for a good holiday movie that tugs on your heart, and this movie does just that.  I'm also a fan of Candace Cameron Bure clear back to watching her on the television series Full House growing up.  I think she's an amazing actress and she really brings a wonderful performance in The Heart of Christmas.  Knowing this movie was based on a true story made it even more touching.  I will admit I shed some tears, but also many smiles throughout the movie.  This movie really reminds you of how precious life is and how much I have to be thankful for.  I plan on lending my copy to my mother in law so she can watch it next.  I know she will love it just as much as I did.  If you're looking for a good holiday movie that is family friendly this season, The Heart of Christmas is a must watch!
