Unique Scholarships You May Qualify For


Do You Have That Special Something?

If you are lucky enough to be one of the few with that extra special "something", you may be able to get scholarship funds for school! These scholarships are among the unique, hard to find, and mainly hard to qualify for. Here are some of the most unique scholarships out there, so why not see if you qualify for some of these college funds?

Unique Scholarships:

 

Tall Clubs International Student Scholarship: Being tall is the requirement for this scholarship! Must also be under 21 years of age, attending your first year of college in the fall, and be a minimum of 5'10" for women and 6'2" for men.
Application Deadline: Varies

Chick and Sophie Major Memorial Duck Calling Contest: This one is open to any high school senior with the gift of duck calling! Participants have 90 seconds to use four calls - hail, feed, comeback, and mating.
Application Deadline: November 26th, Annually

Duck Brand Duct Tape Stuck at Prom Contest: Does the mention of duct tape get your creative juices flowing? If so, you may just get some college funds! This contest awards cash for college to high school students ages 14 or older that are attending prom in the spring of your entry. Entrants must be "as a couple" and must attend prom wearing either attire or accessories made out of duct tape.
Application Deadline: June, Annually

Vegetarian Resource Group Scholarship: Are you a vegetarian with a passion for promoting vegetarianism in your school and/or community? This ones for you! Open to graduating US high school seniors who have promoted vegetarianism in their schools and communities. The application requires an essay about how the applicant promoted vegetarianism in their high school or community.
Application Deadline: February 20th, Annually

AACT National Candy Technologists Scholarship: Calling all candy enthusiasts! If you are passionate about candy you should take a look here. Candidates should be attending an accredited, four-year college or university in North America, be majoring in food science, chemical science, biological science or related area, and have a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Application Deadline: Varies March/April, Annually

Zolp Scholarship: If you were blessed with the last name "Zolp" then you are lucky enough to get four years of college tuition at Loyola University in Chicago paid for in full!
