We say our body is like a temple.
We believe that it really needs to be treated with love, care, and caution. But
do you actually treat your body like a temple? We stand with our defenses up
and speak confidently against people who body shame us continually about our
weight, our skin color or our basic outer appearance. And we are right. It is
indeed high time everyone stops body shaming people with extra small and
extra-large sizes. But don’t you think that the biggest person who body shames
you is yourself? If you really believe that your body is sacred, you would
never experiment with it. We really need to love ourselves and understand the
mechanism of our body.
What your body actually needs and
badly craves for is: “Stability and Balance”. Just see how relatable it is with
our lives. A stable, balanced life is the secret to get that perfectly dreamy
toned and healthy body you have always craved or. Hectic lives and too much
negativity can actually result in deteriorating the health of our body.
We may not realize it, but we
tend to ignore certain facts about how our body functions. This lack of awareness
affects our body for a very long time causing problems in terms of its
immunity, digestion, obesity and causes diseases which can occur in the body at
a very young age. We work so hard to lose weight; we let go of our favorite
food, we exercise too much, we try all kind of detox diets and drinks in order
to lose few pounds and those extra inches. But we are still not able to get
that flat belly. So what is it that is missing from our side that in spite of
so many efforts and hard work, we still do not succeed?
Following are some of the things
which can help us to attain a healthy life and reach our weight goal:
1. Timely meals: Eating your
meals at an uneven and uncertain timing can be a very big mistake that you may
be making. Even if you are eating a bowl of fruits or a healthy salad, the
timings to consume your food always needs to be fixed and proper. We tend to
skip the meals because of our busy schedule, or plan to eat it later because we
already feel full due to the previous meal, but it is better to eat less than
to skip it and save it for after an hour. When we skip meals, it increases your
chances of excessive and overeating in the next meal. It usually increases the unhealthy
cravings and you tend to prefer pizza over salad. Skipping or delaying meals
also slow down your metabolism rate, which makes it difficult for you to lose
weight.
2. Sufficient sleep: You may find
it strange, or even amusing that how can your sleep affect your weight loss
plan. It does not have anything to do with the number of calories you intake or
the number of hours you spent in your gym. But it is scientifically proven fact
that not sleeping enough can result in weight gain. This implies even when you
are working out and eating healthy. Sleep is the only food which nourishes and
refreshes our brain. With lack of sleep, our body releases major hunger
hormones, ghrelin and leptin, which send out signals of being hungry to the
brain. This results in increasing your appetite and cravings and eventually,
weight gain. Less sleep also makes you lethargic and lazy, preventing you from
being active and working out with full energy.
3. Knowledge about helpful
supplements: Our lack of knowledge about facts of how our body functions can
prevent us from experiencing major weight loss. Certain diets and supplements helps
in restoring the functioning of our body, lose the fat, inches and attain a
flat belly. One such diet is HCG diet, which is very helpful in achieving major
weight loss. HCG is a natural hormone which our body releases more during
pregnancy. This hormone has proved very effective in reducing weight. The idea
is to induce HCG through the means of supplements or injections. HCG diet is a
very low-calorie diet, which limits your diet to 500 calories per day for several
weeks then slowly increasing the number of calories, along with the intake of
HCG. You can buy HCG drops and other supplements from https://hcgdiet.com/.
This diet includes a protein, bread, a vegetable, and a fruit in each meal.
4. Too much stress and anxiety:
Stress is bad, and we all are aware of this fact. It creates a lot of burdens,
disturbs our mental health, induces a lot of negativity and is the reason formany diseases and problems we suffer in our lives. What we do not know, that it
can be a very big reason for our obesity as well. Under the stress, our body
usually releases cortisol, a stress hormone, which increases our appetite and
our cravings for the food we love. Now you know why you turn to comfort food
after a long, stressful day at work, or after a really bad break-up.
5. Balance between exercise and
dieting: When you work extra hard throughout the day, doing Yoga, Pilates,
Zumba or Cardio, the biggest mistake you can make after the amazing workout is rewarding
yourself by grabbing a burger and fries, or any other unhealthy food you love.
The real workout is exercising your brain to eat healthily. And it works the
other way out as well. Healthy eating and diet plans work only to a certain
extent. If you do not live an active life, do not go for a jog or walk, you can
never be wholly healthy. You need to maintain a very healthy balance between
dieting and exercise, as both of these elements play a very important role in helping
to lose weight. They go hand in hand, working their way out and making way for
a healthy life.
